Scooter Allison
Driver
Scooter Allison has been around racing all his life. At 32 years of age, Scooter has been involved with everything from radio controlled cars to full-scale stock cars.
Scooter began his racing career at age 11 racing 1/10 scale radio controlled cars on scaled dirt oval and off road tracks in the Atlanta and North Georgia area. From 1988 to 1993 Scooter won hundreds of dirt oval A-Mains, including series championships and the 1992 World Clay Oval Championship. In 1996, Scooter took the leap to full-scale cars, racing primarily at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Georgia, and Rome Speedway in Rome, Georgia. In 1998 the racing focus was moved to North Georgia Speedway in Chatsworth, Georgia, where Scooter raced successfully in the Hobby Division until 2002. During that time, the Action Motorsports Team finished third in the yearly points standings in both 2000 and 2001. In 2002, after some initial setbacks, Scooter decided to take a break from racing to focus on college, work and family.
2007 will once again see the familiar number 59 take to the track at North Georgia Speedway in the Late Model Sportsman Division.

Wayne Allison
Crew Chief
It all began with Wayne Allison.
Wayne Allison began racing in the early 1970's with go-karts in the North Carolina/South Carolina region. After quickly making a name for himself as a driver, he and his second kart, piloted by Ricky White, became a force to be reckoned with on the Carolina tracks. Racing underpowered karts and winning against higher powered engines made Wayne Allison a legend in his own time. Although driving the karts was his focus, adjusting the karts was the art that Wayne was well familiar with. A "tweak" here, and a "wedge" there set the Wayne Allison Engineered karts ahead of the competition in the early and mid 70's.
In 1986, after nearly eleven years away from the racing scene, Wayne Allison once again took up his crew chief duties as chief mechanic on the radio controlled cars of Scooter Allison, and as it is said, the rest is history.
2007 will once again engage skills of Wayne Allison as he prepares the Action Motorsports Late Model Sportsman machine.
